Assistant Coach a Home Grown Local.

Wendall Mason has been named Assistant Coach for the 2019-20 season.

Wendall began coaching in 2006 as a Head Coach in Rocky Minor Hockey Program with the Female Program.  He has experience coaching at the 2008 Alberta Winter Games and most recently as the Head Coach of the Rocky Midget "A" Royals.  Born and raised in Rocky Mtn House, he has deep passion for the grass roots and building the community he as always called home.  Wendall has been the Oilfield Manager for Pidherney's Inc out of Rocky Mountain House for the past 8 years, successfully managing the Oilfield Division as well as the day to day operations with in the company.

Wendall and his wife Kristi have begun raising their two children (3rd arriving in Oct) and spend most of their winters in the arena's across Alberta.  He has a deep love for the game and finds great pleasure in coaching and watching the players grow around him.  Wendall has passionate drive to build and sustain camaraderie within any team he is a part of.  He also is the current Coaching Coordinator for the Rocky Minor Hockey Program. The team is in good hands with Wendall on the bench.
